The Mysterious and Most Sparkly October Phenomenon

img049A dramatic title for my sister’s birthday, which is upon us again! I painted her in one of my favourite October outfits of hers, her self-made ceramic beaver-paw necklace included of course.

I also did the watercolour below of her livingroom, as I wanted to commemorate how special she made it! You can spot Mormor’s watercolour cards in the mirror, Ikat on the wall, Greek waily cats on the sofa and one of her own ceramics holding a candle on the table.

Happy Birthday Saar! ❤

I love your pictures of rooms – they always look so snug and comfy.

What a lovely birthday greeting! How cosy, interesting and colourful your room looks Saar! You look so comfy curled up on the sofa, surrounded by nice and interesting things. Do I recognise the armchair??
Looking forward to seeing you both soon,
    Margie xxx
