Avian boats and hoovers

Grebes with baby grebies on their backs! The babies were like tiny avian zebras (I’ll try to do a better drawing at some point). These were sketched very quickly from within the car as we drove past or as we nipped outside.

Later we drove past the river and found five spoonbills. Maybe spoonbills feature fairly often on here but I will sketch them whenever I get the chance, heh! This is what happens when spoonbills are spotted. All decorum.

Luckily Flinky did shut up and the spoonbills landed again not too far away. They must have found a banquet, they were so busy.
